Let Go

Another sad song. Another fiction. Inspired by 3 doors down.

Someday you would want to remember me

And that day I would never know

Seems like, these are mere stories

Oh, let it be, for I don wanna know.

Night and day, for all these years…now

I spent my life for you.

In this world there is real and make believe

Where do you want to be?

I love you but I don know who I am

I have lost my face - space; and all I ever had

I love you, but I don know who I am

So let me go. Let me go.

No one knows what I go through

No, no please don’t claim you do.

Fearless smiles with no questioning

Are all I ever asked you for…

Night and day, for all these years…now

I spent my life for you.

In this world there is real and make believe

Where do you want to be?

I love you but I don know who I am

I have lost my face - space; and all I ever had

I love you, but I don know who I am

So let me go. Just Let me go.

Let me go.

And no matter how hard I try

There’s lil to do, and lot to hide

I know - you know

When all the pieces fall apart

And you look at me standing out

You know… you know you jus ought to let me go.

good work...you have carefully stayed between little and no resemblance with the original one...
    best being the last stanza
"lil to do and lot to hide"
    and
"and you look at me standing out"
    the author's touch i guess!!!

  6. Let go of you,
    I want to too,
    The memories I hold,
    Are treasures enough.
    But, you asking me
    To let you go now,
    Is a farce,
    For the only one
    Who can let you go,
    Is you,
    For without you letting go,
I cannot be made to let go.

Just wanted to confirm if 'Wow!' was for the dude above my comment of the dude who wrote my comment.

Replying to the comment on Lightning (poetry physics n prolific writing! I am addicted! Mind if I tag u?)
Can poetry be classified as something apart from science, from humanity, from art, from anything, from nothing, in to a particular genre? If it can be, then yes, physics and poetry, if not, just poetry.

Nice to know that you like to read what I conjure. You are welcome here anytime

With regard to the tag, if you mean blogroll, I do not have any issue. Having seen your blogs (Yes I did read the Tamizh one, in Tamizh), I do not suppose your are the kind who is going to write the answers to twenty random pointless questions and then ask someone else to do the same (aka the game of Tag). I do not do the latter, I do do the blogroll.

Happy reading, and same to me too.

  9. In new light I see
    Things visible to me.
    In understanding, in peace
    Letting go,
    From inside
    From you.
